Celkem jednoduchý nápad vyu¾ívá nepozornosti vlastníkù domén, kteøí jsou e-mailem upozornìni, ¾e za nìkolik desítek dní bude expirovat jejich doména a souèasnì je jim nabídnuta mo¾nost jejího prodlou¾ení. E-mail je zasílán pravdìpodobnì náhodným vlastníkùm domén (pøevá¾nì .com, .biz nebo .info) bez ohledu na skuteènou dobu expirace a registrátora domény. Jsou známy pøíklady, kdy by byl takto osloven vlastník domény, která má datum expirace za více ne¾ rok a tedy datum expirace uvádìný v e-mailu byl nepravdivý. Pokud nìkdo chtìl vyu¾ít nabídky na prodlou¾ení domény, byl pøesmìrován na stránku s formuláøem, kde za !!! pouhých 79,95 USD !!! si mù¾e doménu prodlou¾it na !!! 1rok !!!. Nutno upozornit, ¾e bì¾ná cena prodlou¾ení uvádìných domén se pohybuje kolem 10,-USD !
Formuláø je mo¾né vyplnit a postupnì se proklikat a¾ k pøíkazu k platbì, ale podle mého názoru je dost naivní se domnívat, ¾e po zaplacení, by se tito koumáci namáhali s prodlu¾ováním domény.
